Welcome to Saddleridge Farms
Our farm, nestled in the foothills near Shelbyville, Tennessee, has been our dream ever since we first became interested in working with horses approximately 30 years ago. We are now hard at work and have been since 2003.
During our 5 year stay in South America, we fell in love with two very special Spanish breeds, the Pure Spanish Andalusian and the Peruvian Paso. The Pure Spanish Andalusian is the classic versatile trotter, and the Peruvian is the naturally gaited walker. We determined that if and when we returned to the United States we would become involved with these wonderful horses as a way of life.
Our goal is to offer horses of excellent conformation and performance and we emphasize quality over quantity. Our breeding program is built on the fundamentals of breed type and is in accordance with established breed standards. We believe that putting the horse into work is the best way to validate our breeding program and therefore our horses are trained under saddle at the appropriate age.
We invite you to come visit with us a observe first hand the high quality
of our horses and for sure check out our Sales page for outstanding horses
offered for 2010!
